COMPONENTS OF A DRUM MOTOR 

Rotor & Stator: The rotor is rotated by a magnetic field created by the stator as voltage is induced. 
Gear Housing & Gears: The gear housing holds a two-stage gear reducer. 
Final Gear: This gear is connected to the end cap and transmits the power from the gear module. 
Shafts: Shafts are stationary and mount the unit to the conveyor frame. 
Junction Box: This is where incoming power is connected to the drum motor. 
End Caps / Flanges and Shell: Used as the final element of power transmission to the shell and complete the sealing of the unit to the shell with fasteners.
